At Wolfchase Honda, we’re very proud to have our dealership right by Memphis, Tennessee, the largest city in the state.
Memphis has an incredibly lengthy history that goes back possibly for thousands of years – due to its fruitful location on the Mississippi River. Eventually, the modern-day Memphis that we know and love was founded in 1819.
Today, Memphis thrives as a cultural center emblematic of the Deep South, known for its cuisine, music, and Memphis in May – a month-long festival held every single year that promotes the city’s cultural heritage.
Of the many attractions in Memphis, one of the most noteworthy is the Memphis Zoo, which is one of only four zoos in all of the United States to house giant pandas. In fact, the Memphis Zoo was named the number one zoo in the U.S. by TripAdvisor.com.
Memphis is also filled with museums, which makes sense given the city’s extremely rich history. This is where you can find the National Civil Rights Museum, which memorializes the location in which Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated and examines the movement that he championed.
The city is absolutely packed with music venues, an enormous dance scene, a legacy of filmmaking, countless art galleries, and truthfully any other form of art that one can imagine. It’s truly one of the most culturally rich cities in the entire country.
If you are a lifelong resident of Memphis, or if you just happen to be passing by on vacation, come pay us a visit at Wolfchase Honda, where we’d love to set you up with your next vehicle.
